Our Blessed Mother

Today is Friday, November 4, 2022. I typically work with the Blessed Mother on Fridays. I’m not sure if I was ever told that Friday was Her day, or if it just made sense to me. Some days I would love to work with Her everyday, and in many ways I do.

The Virgin of Guadalupe is how Our Mother presented and presents Herself to me, but really, any iteration of Mary speaks close to my heart, probably because of my Christian upbringing. However, I’ve seen Our Mother in many different feminine forms and especially when I embrace the Earth.

One way I work with the Blessed Mother everyday is by walking barefoot, especially on the patch of grass in my courtyard.

I’ve been studying Biofield Tuning and in one session recently, Eileen McKusick mentioned the importance of walking around barefoot because we store so much dirty electricity in our bodies (through fluorescent lights, wifi signals, etc). When we wear shoes, especially rubber soled shoes, the electricity in our bodies has nowhere to go, so when we walk barefoot and get our feet on the grass, we are giving that accumulated electricity somewhere to go. This, too, connects us with Our Mother.

From a Christian mystic perspective, wherein we are ALL children of the Most High, what are the implications of Our relationship with Our Mother? The awakening of Awareness to our Christ Nature (accepting "Christ” into our hearts) reveals Our True Divine Nature. After all, the cross is the intersection of the four elements meeting together in the Heart to reveal five, that is - our QUINT-essential Nature: We Are Divine.

We are the elements come together. We are the Embodiment of the Divine, and our Flesh is from the Earth - that is, Our Mother (and we love Her).

The story of Christ is an example for us - this is our story - WE were born from the Virgin Mother, and WE can choose to pick up our cross (that is, the embodiment of Our Divine Nature) and live in accordance with Divine Will and our Higher Purpose - this is the sacrifice of the flesh: to put down the phone or pause before spending & look within for the True Source of Love. The Kingdom of God is within you, after all.

I remember when the Blessed Mother first revealed Herself to me when I was sitting amongst thorns in the woods of East Texas, and all I could do was cry and bask in Her warm embrace. It felt like a homecoming. Though I had loved Nature, my vision was so clouded I could not see the connection between me and the Earth. When I finally saw Her and acknowledged her, she welcomed me back home with what felt like a bowl of warm soup and wrapped me in a blanket.

“I never want to leave again,” I told Her, which is why I work with Her on a regular basis.

Our Mother patiently waits for all of Us. She loves Us, and We love Her, remember?
