Tell me more about The Metaphysics of Good Vibrations.
I wrote The Metaphysics of Good Vibrations between 2020-2022 after completing the Rite of Abramelin, which is a special initiation that commits one’s life to a magical path of service. During this Rite, I received what is called, Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel, which is just as esoteric as it sounds. After completing the Rite, my life was turned upside down and the rug pulled out from under me. In this process, I wrote The Metaphysics of Good Vibrations.

The Metaphysics of Good Vibrations is a mystical prose-poem with a considerable Gnostic undercurrent and faint fibers of Kabbalah. It is an alchemical book of poetry that demonstrates the burning away of excess, releasing addictive tendencies and coming to terms with the inward journey all in the light of love. The Metaphysics of Good Vibrations is a love poem to the Beloved that pulls on the threads of trauma, apocalypse and destruction both inner and outer, all while posing the question - What is the difference?

“Deja Vu” 

Me and my 4 o'clock shadow
bring on
5 o’clock mosquitoes
before the frog king
awakens from his slumber.
A jet ski in the distance,
traversing muddy waters
in search of significance.
A breath of fresh air,
and I feel like I have already written this poem.
My dog’s nails clack on the
wooden deck.
His panted clicking
like a blind man making his way
from one treat to another.
A slant glance
always seems to make me uneasy,
as do a lot of people in my life.
When I look for a friend or a pillar,
I find a lighthouse; somehow,
there is always someone I can call.

A tree holds many birds in winter,
while I sip this morning’s coffee
into the afternoon.
Yoga pants and the same old sweatshirt.
What else would I wear to daily
watch it all burn?

I hear countless crows
caw in the distance,
and yet I hear a child also close by.
A day in the country, looking for omens,
weaving old patterns and releasing the old.
